Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) Initiative: Phase II

Summary
|
The PDA Initiative will provide as many as 1,000 PDAs to nurses in health care organizations across the province.
The objectives are to:
- Support the implementation of evidence-based practice.
- Improve nurses’ use of research in practice.
- Improve patient outcomes.
- Improve nurses’ quality of work-life.

Who may apply
|
Organizations that employ nurses to deliver health care in hospitals, long-term care homes, home health care, community health, primary care and public health or correctional facilities.
Applications from organizations in northern, rural and remote communities are encouraged.
