Stream III: Career Options-Education

Do I need more education to go forward?

Ontario’s regulated and non-regulated health fields offer a number of alternate career paths to IMGs with appropriate training. These careers may range from clinical research and health management to another regulated health profession.

Online Registration

Are you an internationally educated health professional living in Ontario and seeking information about the regulatory process in a regulated health profession? If so, please click on the Register Online button below and follow the steps to become a registered client of the Access Centre.

The Career Options-Education Stream will provide information on how to navigate Ontario’s academic system and successfully apply for the program of your choice. You will acquire academia-specific information and skills through two workshops complemented by one-on-one appointments with Access Centre advisors.

Ideally, this stream will help you transition into another career in the health sector or enhance your application portfolio for a residency position.

How the Career Options-Education Stream will get you there?

Orientation to the Canadian Academic System and Study Culture Session
This session will provide an overview of Ontario’s health sciences programs and general academic information.
