MedQuest
The Schulich School of Medicine’s Southwestern Ontario Medical Education Network has developed MedQUEST: a strategic collaborative program that encourages students from Southwestern Ontario, an area with a substantial rural population, to apply in greater numbers to medical school. MedQUEST is a one-week summer program for Grade 10 and 11 students that will have local physicians, nurses and medical/nursing students that delivers an exciting curriculum to regional high school students. Students will be nominated by their schools for demonstrating academic skills, leadership qualities and interest in the field of medicine.

Physician Education 

The Ontario Medical School Application Service is a non-profit centralized application service for applicants to the six Ontario medical schools: Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine (McMaster University), Northern Ontario School of Medicine, University of Ottawa, Queen's University, University of Toronto and the Schulich School of Medicine (The University of Western Ontario).

Nursing Education

Council of Ontario University Programs in Nursing (COUPN) promotes the advancement of nursing by influencing university nursing education, promoting standards of excellence in university nursing programs and promoting research and scholarly activity in nursing.

The Nursing Education Initiative provides reimbursement for professional development courses/programs, as part of a government nurse training and education fund for RPNs and RNs. Information is available through RNAO and RPNAO.

Registered Nurses' Foundation of Ontario (RNFOO) is a charitable foundation that provides financial support for nurses and nursing students to further their education and to engage in research.

Nursing Students of Ontario (formerly Provincial Nursing Students Interest Group) represents and acts as a resource for Ontario's nursing students.

Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) Examination Readiness Test LeaRN CRNE Readiness Test provides assistance in determining readiness to take the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination.
