MedQuest Runs a summer health care careers exploration program for grade 10 and 11 students in southwestern Ontario.

Ontario Job Futures

Provides information on current trends and the future outlook for 190 occupations in Ontario.
Ontario School Counsellors’ Association Offers information about occupations, sectors, study tips, scholarships, how to search for work and more.

Ontario Skills Passport

Provides descriptions of essential skills and work habits that are important for employment.

Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) Processes applications for admission to universities in Ontario.

Explains the benefits of studying at a college or university in Ontario to international students.

Canadian Federation of Medical Students Acts as the voice of Canadian medical students to the federal government, the public and national medical organizations.
Contact North Provides Ontarians living in remote and rural communities with direct access to academic programs and courses from colleges and universities.
Ontario Medical School Application Service                Functions as a centralized application service for applicants to the 6 Ontario medical schools.
Ontario Medical Schools Provides a list of medical schools in Ontario with links to each school’s web site.

Canadian Federation of Medical Students (CFMS) Acts as the voice of Canadian medical students to the federal government, the public and national medical organizations.
Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS) Provides an electronic application service and computer match for postgraduate medical training.
Ontario Medical Student Association (OMSA) Represents the political, clinical and economic interests of Ontario’s medical profession. Provides information for medical students.
The Professional Association of Internes and Residents of Ontario (PAIRO)
Ensures its members have optimal training and working conditions. Has a prepping for residency section.

Canadian Association of Internes and Residents (CAIR)

Addresses policy and advocacy issues of national interest for physicians training in Canada.

Canadian Medical Association (CMA)  Advocates on behalf of its members and the public for high quality health care and provides leadership and guidance to physicians.
Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS) Provides an electronic application service and computer match for postgraduate medical training.
The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) Provides quality patient care through education, research and the promotion of best practices.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)   Issues certificates of registration for all physicians in Ontario and provides peer assessment.
Eastern Regional Medical Education Program (ERMEP) Develops distributed medical education in Eastern Ontario by facilitating the placement of medical students at appropriate sites.
McMaster's Mac-CARE Arranges for core rotations for 4 weeks or longer in Niagara, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, Cambridge, Brantford and the surrounding areas.
Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM)  Arranges for core rotations at northern training sites, including: North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Thunder Bay and Timmins.
Ontario College of Family Physicians (OCFP) Promotes the quality of family medicine in Ontario through leadership, research, education and advocacy.
Ontario Medical Association (OMA) Represents the political, clinical and economic interests of Ontario’s medical profession.

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)  Sets the standards for postgraduate medical education and for certifying specialist physicians.
Rural Ontario Medical Program (ROMP) Arranges core and elective rotations for medical trainees across south central Ontario.
Society of Rural Physicians of Canada (SRPC) Supports rural physicians, delivers continuing rural medical education, facilitates research into rural health issues and more.
Southwestern Ontario Medical Education Network (SWOMEN) Provides rural regional training experience to undergraduate and postgraduate trainees from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, The University of Western Ontario.
