Allied Health Professional Development Fund

The purpose of the Allied Health Professional Development Fund is to extend skill and knowledge development opportunities to the following regulated health professionals:
- Audiologists
- Dietitians
- Medical Laboratory Technologists
- Medical Radiation Technologists
- Occupational Therapists
- Pharmacists
- Physiotherapists
- Respiratory Therapists
- Speech-Language Pathologists
The Allied Health Professional Development Fund is being offered once again in 2008/09.
If you are a practicing, registered member of your respective regulatory college, you may be eligible to receive a reimbursement of up to a maximum of $1,500 for professional development courses and/or programs.

Electronic Health Library
The Fund has also invested in a three-year subscription to an electronic health library for practicing members of the nine eligible health professions. The library will give health professionals access to the most recent health care literature to help determine the best approach to evidence-based practice.
