Allied Health Professional Development Fund
The purpose of the Allied Health Professional Development Fund is to extend skill and knowledge development opportunities to the following regulated health professionals:
- Audiologists
- Dietitians
- Medical Laboratory Technologists
- Medical Radiation Technologists
- Occupational Therapists
- Pharmacists
- Physiotherapists
- Respiratory Therapists
- Speech-Language Pathologists
If you are a practising, registered member of your respective regulatory college, you may be eligible to receive a reimbursement of up to $1,500 for professional development courses and/or programs.

Electronic Health Library
The Fund has also invested in a 3-year subscription to an electronic health library for practising members of the 9 eligible health professions. The library will give health professionals access to the most recent health care literature to help determine the best approach to evidence-based practice.
