Ontario's HWE Expert Advisory Group

The support the work of the Healthy Work Environments (HWE) Champions the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care assembled a HWE Expert Advisory Group consisting of health care professionals.

The Expert Advisory Group advises the Champions (and through them, the Ministry), on the implementation of the province’s HWE strategy:

• How to enhance knowledge transfer;
• Support for change management;
• Promoting organizational leadership;
• Enhancing interprofessionalism / teamwork; and
• Strategies for successful sectoral outreach.

The Expert Advisory Group Members are:

• Irmajean Bajnok (Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario);
• Dr. Gail Donner (Change Foundation);
• Dr. Eric Fonberg  (Rouge Valley Health System);
• Linn Holness (St. Michael's Hospital, Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute);
• Louise Logan (Public Services Health and Safety)
• Anne-Marie Malek (West Park Healthcare Centre);
• Richard McConnell (VON Canada);
• Pat Morden (Shalom Village);
• Derek Puddester (University of Ottawa);
• Eva Szczerba (Quality Worklife Quality Healthcare Collaborative); and
• Diane Strachan (London Health Sciences Centre).
