What HealthForceOntario Can Do for You

The HealthForceOntario strategy is designed to make Ontario the employer of choice for health care providers. Supporting, attracting and developing our health force is one of the most important priorities for our health care system.

HealthForceOntario includes a number of initiatives — including the HealthForceOntario Marketing and Recruitment Agency — that are designed to help the province sustain its vital health care workforce, encourage young people to consider health careers and reduce the barriers for internationally educated health providers to work in Ontario.

HealthForceOntario is offering the following funds to support Ontario’s health care professionals. These are:

• Allied Health Professional Development Fund
  This Allied Health Professional Devlopment Fund provides financial support to allied health professionals for professional development.
• Interprofessional Care/Education Fund
  The Interprofessional Care/Education Fund is a funding program that will provide support to innovative health education or health care projects that foster and build interprofessional teams.
