HFOJobs – Employment Portal for Other Health Professions
In the next phase of the HealthForceOntario strategy, a comprehensive job portal — HFOJobs — will list employment opportunities for a wide range of health professionals (currently available only to physicians and nurses). This portal will be geared to health professionals who are currently practising as well as students enrolled in health education programs.

Users will be able to search and view current practice opportunities and community information, as well as build their curriculum vitae, set job alerts, bookmark websites and apply for jobs that meet their personal and professional needs.

Communities, and health care organizations and employers within those communities, will be easily able to create and manage customized web sites to advertise and market job opportunities and to provide community information to health care professionals. The portal will provide prospective employers with improved access to applicants and with matches that are retention-focused.
