Chiropractors

The College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO) is the governing body established by the provincial government to regulate chiropractors in Ontario. Every chiropractor practising in Ontario must be a registered member of the College.
Registration Requirements
To practise as a chiropractor in Ontario, internationally educated chiropractors must hold a Certificate of Registration and meet the requirements set out by the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO). To become eligible for the Certificate of Registration, internationally educated chiropractors must meet the following registration requirements:
- Complete the requirements for graduation from a chiropractic education program accredited or recognized through reciprocal agreement by the Canadian Federation of Chiropractic Educational Regulatory and Educational Accrediting Boards
- Submit official or notarized copies of all transcripts from an accredited chiropractic educational institution
- Submit notarized photos of the applicant
- Provide proof of Canadian citizenship, Permanent Resident Status or Employment Authorization
- Complete application and fee
- Successfully complete the following examinations:
a) Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board (CCEB) knowledge-based examinations;
b) CCEB Clinical Competency Examinations; and
c) CCO Legislation and Ethics Examination
