Before Starting a Locum Assignment
Make sure you:
- Receive pre-approval from RFMLP (contract issued) to ensure you are eligible for funding;
- Confirm RFMLP locum dates and other arrangements such as on-call requirements and billing splits with the rural physician community;
- Arrange your own hospital privileges when providing hospital coverage;
- Review the Expense Claim Form and Guidelines - PDF, and then make your own arrangements regarding travel, and accommodation.
