Welcome to the inaugural edition of CPC Source, Toronto Central
LHIN region. My name is Giles and I am your Community Partnership
Coordinator. The Community Partnership Program, created by
HealthForceOntarioMarketing and Recruitment Agency (HFO MRA),
is new to your region. HFO MRA offers a range of programs and
services to help meet your health human resources needs, and
this e-newsletter is intended to keep you up-to-date on HHR resources
in the province and your region.

• The Wave 5 application process for 30 new Family Health Teams
  is now being issued. The application deadline is 5 p.m. on June 25.
  The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care has resource documents
  to assist with your application.
• The Wave 3 application process for 14 new Nurse Practitioner-led
  clinics is now being issued. The application deadline is 5 p.m.
  on June 25.
• The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has announced two
  new initiatives:
• HealthForceOntario Northern and Rural Recruitment and
  Retention Initiative (HFO N3R)
• HealthForceOntario Return of Service Program
  (HFO ROS)
• Looking for summer locums? Post your opportunities on
  HFOJobs. Don’t forget, we can do the posting for you.
• Practice Ontario is a new dedicated job search service, created by
  HFO MRA, for postgraduate medical residents. PracticeOntario @
  U of T is the first medical school to launch this service.

• Ontario needs more Family Physicians! Help attract medical
  students to Family and Community Medicine by becoming
  a preceptor through University of Toronto’s Family Medicine
  Longitudinal Experience Program.
• The Toronto Central LHIN has issued as Request for Service
  (RFS) for Emergency Department Leader Services in the
  Toronto Central LHIN.
