Temporary Class Employment Supports

RN and RPN applicants require an offer of employment to obtain Temporary Class registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) while they work towards meeting the education equivalency and registration exam requirements needed for General Class registration.

If you are a nurse who would like to be made aware of current potential employment opportunities for Temporary Class please complete the Temporary Class Nurse Intake Form.

Ontario Health will use the information collected in this form to provide potential job opportunities where supervision can be provided in order to obtain Temporary Class registration.

The number of positions available is limited due to the supervision capacity of employers. Applicants are encouraged to seek out their own employment opportunities outside of this process.
