Locum Physician Eligibility
Locum physician criteria:
- A valid licence for the independent practise of family medicine in the province of Ontario - Register with CPSO
- An active OHIP billing number – Register with OHIP
- To be a member in good standing in the Canadian Medical Protective Association - Apply for CMPA membership
You may be required to possess a valid certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) depending on the community’s requirements. Please contact the community for its specific requirements.
