Locum Physician Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria:
- A valid Certificate of Registration from The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
- A current Certificate of Professional Conduct from The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
- Membership in good standing with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
- An active Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) billing number and billing privileges. For more information about registering for a billing number.
You may be required to possess a valid certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), depending on the community’s requirements.
